These are placeholder terms pending legal review. Full terms of service and privacy policy are being prepared with legal counsel and will be published prior to general availability. By using FinanceBot during this period, you acknowledge that the product is in early access.
FinanceBot is a software-as-a-service invoicing and accounting tool operated by its founder. Access is provided on a subscription basis. By creating an account, you agree to use the service only for lawful business purposes.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abuse of the free trial system, or use the platform for fraudulent purposes.
The service is provided "as is." While we take accuracy seriously and every financial calculation is produced by deterministic code, FinanceBot does not constitute professional accounting or tax advice. You are responsible for verifying figures with a qualified accountant before filing.
We collect the minimum data necessary to provide the service: your email address, company name, and invoice data you enter or upload. Your data is stored on isolated, encrypted volumes hosted on Fly.io infrastructure in the Toronto (YYZ) region.
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except as required to operate the service (Stripe for billing, Resend for transactional email).
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us.
Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. A valid payment method is required to start a free trial. You will not be charged until the trial period ends. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 7 days of a charge if you believe an error occurred.
